Čaša (The cup) is one of the most renowned ice falls in Logarska Valley. Graded 6+ back in the old days, still holds some of it's fame. Now no more than a 5 +, but as beautiful as it gets..
   
Fuck, we missed the time again. Soft snow on approach to Loska north face. a 1000 metres of winter climbing delights. When conditions are in. Not today.

When we cleared the snow it was already late. And we were supposed to clear the route in one day. Yep, we turned around and fled.

Lower portion of the face hides a few of the finest icefalls in western Slovenia- 3 hard lines of 120 metres. True grade 6, plus room for some mixed climbing.
 
Val Landro in Dolomites A home of some hard mixed stuff. An M11, M10+, M8+ and so on. Maybe an M12 too? anyway, Klemen is seen here, rapelling after a climbing daym that didn't quite see all of his expectations, but was nevertheless worth having.

Nice roof and icicles, that were about to come down any time soon. We're late in the season already.
