July 06. Instead of toasting in the heat, we set up for some mountaineering.    
The UIAGM course, Alpine terain. No glaciers at home anymore so we need to move a bit. 
Glaciers are getting thiner and scarcer everywhere in Europe.    
 Our destination: Couvercle hut besides the Glacier de Talefre.

  After a short break we run up to the  Albert premier hut.
Lots of people on this popular mountaineering starting poit.   
Glacier du Tour  and Aiguille du Chardonnet
a dinner and then the briefing for the next 3 days of work.

Afternoon storms brought some refreshment and sobering realisation,that we will have to complete our next tours as soon as possible.    Getting ready fro the next day.
     8 straight hours work on the Tour glacier. lots of crevasse falling.
